Board of Governors Sheridan College 6 December 2024 RE: OPEN LETTER - Closure of the Pilon School of Business at Sheridan College Dear Members of the Board, As a group of faculty members of the Pilon School of Business (PSB), we want to express our deep concern over the announced program cuts, which effectively will close the Pilon School of Business. The cuts are essentially a death sentence for PSB. Impact of Program Cuts on PSB The proposed reductions target the core of our offerings, including our BBA degrees, diplomas and graduate certificates, across diverse business disciplines. This will affect the vast majority of our students and faculty. This will result in the elimination of essential areas such as accounting and finance, leaving behind only a limited selection of programs in areas such as marketing and advertising.
